Why become a member? 

Reasons to be a member: you want to do a project and need resources. You need to learn more in order to fulfill your vision. You like hanging out in a nurturing environment. You're passionate about the revolution in new media art and the impact of new technology on creativity. For professional growth, personal growth, artistic growth, to satiate a technological curiosity. To consult with us to get your project done! To have a dedicated time and place to work on your hobby (some of us need the support and structure!) 

Benefits of Membership 

A CEMI membership grants you access to our high-tech inventory, studio space, and expertise, as well as use of Artisan's Asylum's facilities. A2 has been our continuing partner in both outreach and infrastructure. In January 2012, we partnered with them to raise funds for a state-of-the-art computer lab which is available for class sessions and for CEMI members. A2 has many additional facilities: machine shop, welding area, bike shop, social space, and electronics / robotics workshop. These facilities are available for use, though pre-requisite training on equipment is necessary for safety reasons. Member Dues 

Full-time access to CEMI and A2 facilities is $45 per month. Lower level memberships with scheduled access during business hours are also available, and we welcome trading memberships for volunteer services and donations. Get the details of dues and benefits and sign up now.
